Patterns in Primitive Pythagorean Triples

In this set of videos, we explore a pattern that a student noticed in the PPT data. Based on this pattern, we again formulate a conjecture, prove our conjecture, and draw a further conclusion about PPTs.

What Other Patterns Can we Identify?

There are other interesting patterns that we can find in Pythagorean Triples that will allow us to create and prove new conjectures.

It seems that in our table, b is always divisible by four. Is that always the case? How would we prove this conjecture?
